Everyone is talking about having a COVID pandemic pivot/side hustle. Jon Yearwood took it to a whole other level with the creation and launch of his The Burger House He was inspired to start the business from constantly being hungry while in quarantine. Living in Flatbush, Brooklyn, all the places in his neighborhood were either fast food places or served West Indian food, and he was craving for a wider food selection. So, right in the middle of this coronavirus pandemic, Yearwood created this family-friendly restaurant located in the heart of Bedford Stuyvesant.
